I was hoping if any of you lovely and smart people can give me advice on a printer to buy tomorrow. I have been using a large format HP inkjet for almost 8 years now which worked brilliantly until the fiancee broke it last year.
I just need a non-shmancy printer that prints well. It only needs to take 8 1/2 x 11 regular paper and I don't care how pretty the cover is or how fast it prints. I was looking at either one with a scanner or a photosmart one that prints photos from cards/computer. I would however take a good printer over both of those options. Especially as I was looking at the photo ones, they seem to print too well (ie they had 6!!! cartridges and probably use alot of ink). I'm not gonna spend over $150 on one, and around $100 and cheaper would be better. Thanks ^3^

Do you find your printer wastes ink fast?
I'm not sure if they make them anymore, but the HP all-in-one's are awesome!

I have a Photosmart 2575 All-in-One, and I love it. I've had it for a year and it still hasn't broken down, the longest I've ever had a printer last. xD Dx Also it only have TWO ink cartridges!
My only complaint is sometimes it acts weird and says my ink is not compatible with the printer, I find just turning it off and starting it back up fixes it. This could be because I have a mac, or maybe I just need to update the driver if it's available on the site.

I never know what to say except "I'm sorry, what were you saying?"
On recommendation from the fiancee, I bought an Epson cause he used to sell printers. I seems to be working good though. And if anything it only cost $70
