This is an Adobe Illustrator Tutorial on How to Make Shapes

I can confirm the usage of versions as early as 9/10. Everything is there, it might look or be labeled slightly different (noted in tutorial). Everything works the same on a mac and a pc only the combination of alt/shift/control/command/apple changes.

Although I go over some very basic principles, this tutorial is meant for people with somewhat of a grasp on the fundamentals of Illustrator. If you are just starting the best tutorial is self taught so keep playing around.

Please note, this tutorial is not a definitive guide on how to make shapes. I'm only providing a foundation to learn that there is more than one way to do anything and it can be done with precision.

Thanks, enjoy the tutorial! n__n

EDIT: Thanks so much ^znow-white for giving me a DD... so fast too...!

Nice tutorial, but I have a question: How to apply round corners?

The tutorial is amazing and it helped me with a lot of things, but what I can't get is the '3' mouths. You say to delete the top line with the direct selection tool, yet I have no clue what to do at that point. I am literally lost. But that is the only thing I couldn't get in this whole tutorial. Thank you for it ♥
